Comments (3)Sorry Karen. Hehehehe I don't mean to confuse anyone. BUT, I confused myself because I thought that I had origianlly posted on discussions....I can't wait to get out there again....It's nice in the mornings and evenings there for sure. That hot sun yesterday and the scare of now "sunblock is cancerous"---well, I didn't put any on and was as red as a tomato and hot like a habanero! BTW, how is Brian doing these days? I had sent the article along to my MIL and she was very interested in him. Does he do an investigative show now? She swears that Brian is the same guy....but I didn't know for sure. Have a safe and wonderful 4th of July! Love, Jules...See MoreCarry-on for 4 day get-away
Comments (37)Thank you for the Baggelini suggestion, ellendi. I have found some online, but need to get to the local mall to actually see it. It looks perfect with all the compartments. Kswl, I also plan on stopping by Nordstrom's to check out the Longchamp. My DD has one that she uses as a handbag on occasion. She loves it. Mel, DD's bf did have some kind of underlying heart condition and was on meds for high blood pressure. We are still waiting for the autopsy results. It won't change the outcome but will allow some sort of understanding of why this happened to a young athlete. Luggage and totes are a diversion....trivial, but needed, KWIM? Thank you so much for the suggestions....See MoreWeekend question...are you quilting ? 10/2-3
Comments (12)I'm packing for retreat also. I'm off to the copy store because a friend suggested zeroxing a pattern instead of taking the whole magazine to retreat to cut down on the weight. Well, duh! Should have thought of that. So, today I'm cutting down on weight in suitcase, thinking through process so I don't forget something and finding clothes that won't take up lots of space but still keep my body clothed. And, I'll be doing a bit of applique as I watch my ball game....See MoreHow do you pass time on nights and weekends?
Comments (23)Hi Linda - I remember you from other Forums but can't remember which ones. I think I even responded to one. K-J is right, sometimes we are a bit rowdy but all in good taste. But as I'me getting older, I realize that the past generations really knew how to make the best of it and to have fun, even just with each other. My Mom retired from Howard University after 30 yrs and then became a member of the retirees organization. When she passed, the other members kind of took me under their wing. I had never had so much fun!! Now as I'm getting closer to that age, I've found that the fun things that "old" people do, are just that - FUN! We laugh here, and we cry here, but we also share here so that after we cry, we can all start having fun again - LOL. But I really luv these guys a lot! Glad to see you here too! gng...See Moreamj0517
