Kick My Butt
Comments (27)I am way behind this year as well. Only two containers sown so far. We got puppies late last summer, and they've been tearing up the backyard and ruined my fall veggies in my raised bed garden, so that's been frustrating. I'm trying to figure out ways to keep my containers out of their reach, as well as how to safeguard my little seedlings once they emerge and have the be transplanted into the ground....See MoreSoapstone Waterfall/Endcap - Mitred or Butt Joint?
Comments (9)I doubt that there are many people here with waterfall soapstone counters as it is something relatively new. I am "salivating" after them and I wish I had seen them before installing my "traditional" one :-( But it would have required buying a second slab, so maybe it was a good thing I didn't know. LOL Here is a discussion from Houzz (see link below), though not about soapstone. Here is a link that might be useful: [Edge discussion[(https://www.houzz.com/discussions/should-you-use-a-mitre-or-butt-edge-on-a-waterfall-countertop-made-out-of-white-ceasarstone-dsvw-vd~128088)...See MoreHelp design a teeny tiny kitchen in a teeny tiny vacation rental
Comments (241)Jillius, I made the Saturday afternoon "deadline" he wanted. I didn't think I would. But, thanks to you and everyone's incredibly generous help, WE did it! I'm thrilled with the plan! I read through the thread again just now. It is completely blowing my mind to see how the design evolved and changed over the course of a week into what we have now. Everyone played an important part with all their input. I will be forever grateful to all of you. It might take a few years to have it all up and running, but I will keep you all posted on the progress. I will start a new thread whenever he gets the walls and roof on. Laughable, I'm am dead serious, just last night my husband said, "You are going to have to start calling me 'Mr. Rebunky' on your GW." Hysterical you said that. Imgch, thanks. I love your reveal! I'm going to go look at all your eye candy again right now. Aloha!...See MoreTiny LA Apartment Rental
Comments (39)why, she can play/draw/dance in the living then pick up the toys etc before changing routines or going to sleep. put them in a bin or a basket or a drawer that's hers, a shelf that's hers. like millions of other kids. what's the problem. she's gonna get her bedtime story. she's gonna have a totally normal life. actually she'll get to spend more time with her parents due to these close quarters. True, kids this age want to be close to their parents-so she'll be too, just like everybody else if not more. for the first several years of my life we were 6 people in 2 rooms, kitchen and bath communal with neighbors. I don't remember being unhappy. I do remember myself more or less since age one..of course I remember also whatever scared me or shamed me or worried me, but overall life was full of wonders, at this age. My parents and grandparents, they probably felt less elated, living like that for years and years......See Moretoats
