Hi ! Thanks for the additional responses ! @mikie: My "live" address is free, so if that's what you mean by "cheap".... I don't like paying for email. ;-) Also, the files/messages are being saved as .rtf fiiles. But I think I found the real problem (thanks to someone's observation elsewhere): the webmail compose screens are set to compose html emails, true. But rich text (a la Wordpad) is not quite the same. Apparently, I need to compose a message in an HTML editor (like Word or Kompozer) in order for a copy-and-paste maneuver to work with a webmail compose page. Fortunately, I use Seamonkey as my browser, which has a built in composer I learned I can use for the purpose ! :-) So, my situation is basically resolved. @leftwood: Actually, I'm trying to avoid using an offline email client just to avoid some steps. Since I like using webmail interfaces in my various accounts, I like the simplicity of just opening a program for writing a document, rather than opening a whole email program and then going into "compose." But, yes, I had Juno once -- seems like ages ago. I started with it, in fact. I liked it. I had the pay service ("free" was too slow). And I liked the built in email client -- based on Outlook Express. But the pic you show above.... isn't that from an eariler version of Juno long since discontinued ? I thought they eliminated the whole browser-email client combo half a dozen years ago (with version 7.0 or something), even thought they (temporarily ?) supported those using the earlier, fuller software versions (like 5.33). Did they bring it back ?

Always check out buy.com and ebay for used textbooks. There are some cases where an older edition won't work. Some professors assign homework from the textbook questions and the questions can change from edition to edition. Some colleges are looking for ways to help save students' money on textbooks. I know a few rent the books from year to year for a lot less than for what one could buy them. A professor I had for history used an on-line textbook, until the company went out of business and we couldn't access the website any more. Another teacher taught psychology from the book he wrote, but you could easily ace the tests from the lecture notes. Sometimes, it's worth waiting to buy the book until you see the first test. Many teachers just test on the lectures, so the book is only there for reference or clarification. It depends on the type of class too. Math books are often needed because problems are assigned from the book. But there is no reason that you can't share the book with another classmate, saving 1/2 the cost of the book. I bought a couple of books in subjects that were in my major because I thought I could use them again (which I did). I agree that textbooks are a major scam. There are ways around it, though. And the more people who fight for cheaper options, the better for all students. So lobby your universities and teachers for options. They do care (mostly).

elizpiz- The island and the base cabs where the soapstone sink is are painted a subtle green which sometimes seems almost grey. To make the transition to the white frig panels and to make the area under the speed oven seem more furniture-like, we painted the drawers the same green as the cabs and the background the same white as the frig and the uppers. I wanted to make the little drawer under the speed oven special and had planned on making it the sole drawer painted orange. Unfortunately, I didn't get my knobs in time to match so I made that the only drawer with a different piece of hardware. Also, you are seeing the library where the cookbooks are. I'll have my husband take more of a close-up so you can see the books. I'm a sick, sick puppy. And no I probably can't get rid of anything but I'd be happy to have you take a look. newbieremodeler - The cabs are custom. I based the sizes on what I needed to put there. I'm attaching my plan to give you an idea. I not only mixed slab and inset but some cabs are framed and some are frameless. The cooking side of the island is frameless and the side with the doors are framed. "So how does one text? I would love to learn - anyone want to post the instructions?" Basically, you just bring up the menu, then choose "Message." Choose "Text" for the type. Depending on your model phone, you "address" the message by pulling from a "recently used" list, or you can type in the phone number, or you can bring up your list of phonebook/contact names and choose from the list. Then you put the cursor into the area where you enter the text and type out your message. If you have a phone with a "QWERTY" keyboard, you type it just as you would on a typewriter or computer keyboard. If you have a phone where you use the "number keypad," you have to press the "2" key three times before you'd get a "c" or the "3" key twice to get an "e," and so on. Usually pressing the "star" key brings up a selection of things like a period, comma, hyphen, question mark, etc. When you're done entering the text, you push the appropriate key/button to "Send."
