(another) echeveria propagation question

Hi everyone, I'm attaching a picture of an echeveria leaf that broke off during a transplant, and so I decided to see if it would sprout roots. Happily it did! Please take a look, and I would be grateful for any advice of how and when to put this into the soil it is resting upon (it's a succulent mix). From browsing earlier posts, I see that I should keep it in the shade until it sprouts babies. I also note that not all mothers with roots like this will necessarily have babies, so I'm just going to try and see what happens. Some advice says to just leave the mother leaf lying flat, but this one has her roots sticking upward, and so they won't touch the soil on their own. Other posts show the mother leaf partially in soil (roots in soil, rest of leaf sticking up). Accepting your suggestions for what to do next, with thanks! Sincerely, Jesse
