Lysimachia punctata ‘Alexander’: invasive?

Normally
I run screaming away from anything named Lysimachia. But the variegated leaves
hooked me and I just picked one up. It is a really good height for a couple of
possible places. I picked it for the leaves rather than the flowers. Though not
a fan of bright yellow, I could deal with in a couple of places.

In
googling it I read that it is not invasive like other Lysimachias. But how true
is that, really? If it is a big spreader (rhizomes? Seeding?) I will give it a
corner where it won’t outcompete anything but a big spruce. Thanks!
