Best Body Parts for Dogs?

OK, so they don't have to be body parts, per se. . .

What are your favorite long-lasting chews for a dog, especially a large one?

I wouldn't say my dog is a super power chewer (he's a 10 month golden retriever), but he can go through a 12" braided bully stick* in about an hour, maybe less.

I look for the cheapest price for the long, braided bullies, but at close to $6 each, I would rather something either cheaper or longer-lasting.

Bones from Petco with the meat on them give him digestive issues.

Split elk is OK but at $25, I'm not sure so sure they are worth it.

The highly digestible rawhide (he's never had true rawhide) was gone very quickly and not worth the price.

Hooves make him throw up.

He only has had one Himalayan chew when he was younger and he wasn't interested. I think he'd like it now but it would be gone quickly.

We used frozen Kongs but I was worried it was affecting the color of his nose. The plastic thing may be a myth, but his nose looks black again (was looking a little pink) after we stopped with Kongs.

Ideas that won't break the bank?
