Thanks Ngraham! There is a lot to like about Red Volunteer. Hubby even likes it, he likes the bold colors! It multiplies fairly quickly here and of course usually has several 'volunteers' that you can clip and plant, to further your Red Volunteer pleasure. I love the large blooms too. I don't have hardly any newer daylilies (yet). I have to get the daylily bed fixed and in order first. I have plenty of seedlings though that I am having so much fun with. It is the first thing I want to do in the morning, go outside to see the new faces! I have two Forestlake Ragamuffin babies to photo this morning. One is not completely open yet.

Love Charlotte Holman with its interesting blend of colors. So that's what Willie Lyles is suppose to look like! Mine is new this year, and looks very gaudy compared to yours (very lovely, BTW). Thanks for sharing your beauties! Julie

Flaming Wildfire and Fire on the Mountain are my favorites of this group. Love the vibrant colors.....I also like Leslie Renee. I lost almost all of her except one tiny fan over this last winter. However I liked her so much that I had to re-order her. This season many of my new purchases have failed to bloom- rather unusual - but my new Leslie did bloom (just quit yesterday). She's a good grower for me and I like her color in person. I hadn't noticed the buds being crowded upon opening since I was just thrilled to get blooms at all this year. I will try and notice it in the future though. Appreciate all your comments.........Maryl
