Shaw Floorte Cleaning -- Always looks streaky.

When viewed from above, the floor is amazing. But I always see awful streaks in it when I clean it. I usually just mist it with vinegar/water 50/50 and use a dry microfiber mop on it. I don't want to use a cleaner that will mess with the finish, so I go for something gentle.
Anyone else run into this issue or what do you use to clean this flooring?
FYI: It is a vinyl plank floating install. Waterproof.

Vinegar at 50% dilution is not gentle. You may have already damaged the floor. Additionally, a gloss finish on darker floors will always show everything. It's like a black car. You have to dry it with a microfiber to have it look good.

I agree with Sophie. Vinegar is by no means gentle. You shouldn't be using vinegar.

Put in a new wood like porcelain tiles from Cancos in September. Love the look and color but it has a haze when daylight shines on certain spots of the floor. Its driving me crazy!!!!!!!! I've tried lots of cleaners and cleaning methods.... Bona, vinegar and water, mr. clean, steam mop, microfiber and bissell crossover. Please help!!!! Would like to hear if anyone has come across this problem and any solutions would be greatly appreciated!

I can comment on Pergo flooring. I had it installed about 12 years ago through Lowes. We had a very experienced flooring installer put them in. He did lots of prep work first: screwed down all the floor boards prior to installing the Pergo and all my flooring squeaks went away. My Pergo looks as good today as the time it was installed. I have dropped items on this flooring over the years: no dings or scratches. My brother who is a real estate appraiser for expensive properties was surprised it was Pergo and not wood. I can not say enough about Pergo. Best of luck in your decision. Always research and read lots of reviews on any projects you plan to do. The time you spend is worth it❣️❣️

You know, we ended up going with neither. After getting quotes from 4 different flooring companies, the one we liked the best was a small, very newly opened one owned by a guy who'd be doing flooring for a long time but just started his own company. He said big companies like Shaw and Karndean won't give contracts to new businesses so he didn't have access to them. He did have Earthwerks which I researched and they sounded good so we went with Earthwerks Noble Classic Plus in Oslo Oak. It's very nice, same wear layer as the others, the better stone composite core and its EIR (embossed in register) so the embossing matches the pattern...so like the knots can be felt if you run your hand over it. We had it installed the 2nd week of Dec and are loving it so far!

We have had our shaw titan HD for atleast 4-5 years now (can't remember the color but has a mix of golden brown all the way to dark browns). We have 2 big dogs and three kids and a pool. It has been zero maintenance and we have had no issues with scratching or water. Honestly looks like the day it was installed and we have never have to be "careful" so as to not damage the floor. Also bought it off wayfair with a 10% off coupon so it was cheaper than many inferior products.

I do use microfiber. It isn't glossy and it is a light shade.

"We recommend Shawfloors R2X Hard Surface cleaner to keep your resilient floors looking their best. We do not recommend that you use vinegar as a cleaner for you resilient vinyl floors. While vinegar makes a great cleaner for household dirt, over time it can damage your floors because it is not pH balanced. Also, please do not use steam to clean your floors. The extreme temperatures can cause expansion of the vinyl which could lead to wrinkles and glue bond issues."
