Light Fixture for Kitchen Table in Breakfast Nook
Comments (25)Hi Newbie! I've wondered what happened to you! Haven't seen you over in Kitchens for a long time! First, congrats on expecting a baby! Exciting! You're on the right path trying to tie up all these loose ends before May. Have you thought about posting over in Kitchens also? So many there have heavily researched lights that someone may have seen the perfect fixture for you. Plus, I know everyone would like to see your progress. :) When I saw that first WE fixture, I thought of a Barbara Cosgrove pendant I like. It echoes the shape. I'll link it below. You might look around for other lights on that site, too. Some of them get into the $$$ range though. I don't care for the mod WE glass cluster you just posted. How far apart would the peninsula and banquette fixtures be? I'm thinking that you might want to scrap the peninsula pendant... Here is a link that might be useful: Savannah pendant in polished nickel...See MoreScored on Craigslist - Breakfast Nook Table!
Comments (15)keep at it re: craigslist. checking daily works for me, sometimes morning and evening. i live in a big urban area with lots of competition - when you find something you need to move quickly or it will be gone. i was at the persons house to purchase table within 1 hour of seeing the posting on line. i might need to buy the bistro chairs new, think they may be even harder to find. yes sister of babushka cat would prefer that all decisions are guided around her fur color - she is dominated by her brother and wants equal time! table is 29x30x29.5 inches. will be going with the creamy mixed tile, just waiting on the tile guy...who was supposed to be here friday to get the ball rolling but had to reschedule as he was running behind. :(...See MoreLove my new lights! Comments (5)My table is 60 round. I am trying to get away from the bowl chandeliers as they seem to catch bugs and dirt. I thought about a drum chandelier but scared of them being too trendy and with the high ceiling I have to pay someone to change out the fixture so I am looking for something that I won't be tired of in a year. Easier said then done! Ha!...See MoreI ordered a banquette/breakfast nook table
Comments (13)Foyboystoo I thought about that! I really wanted a Corian top and couldn't find a bottom for what the entire table cost. So perhaps I could take the top off and have Corian attached. I don't mind that it is oval as I have seen oval ones in other pictures, however it may not look right when it arrives, I just have to wait and see. If I like it but I do not like the light color top with my dark floors, I will stain it. However, I must not forget, that my floors are also dark in my dining room and I got a natural color reclaimed wood dining room table and it looks fine. For $200 I am not considering it a loss and it's the exact size I need so hopefully it works....See MoreAnnie Deighnaugh
