American Leather vs Campio Group Legacy Leather Sectional
Comments (12)We have two W.Schillig leather sectionals. Both were made in their factory in China. We got both styles in the same black, semi-aniline/protected leather grade (76 or 77?), with matching-color stitching (no charge for contrasting stitching). The first sectional had a few issues on delivery; chipped feet, packing creases, a smudge of something in one small spot, and it exhibited "pocketing" in/on one section of seat cushion. We were very upset, and initially wanted a replacement, but allowed the store to send out a professional to do his "magic"--he "ironed" out the packing creases (which continued to smooth out during use), removed the smudge, and had the store order new feet. The pocketing resolved itself as the foam regained its shape and resiliency (from the wrapping, shipping....). We ordered our second sectional from a different store (because of a terrific sale event at that store the time). We were (and continue to be) happy with the first sectional after the "repairs" were completed, so felt comfortable ordering a second W.Schillig sectional. This particular store (out-of-state) actually has items come to their store or warehouse first, to be checked over before they are delivered to the customers. This sectional arrived in perfect condition. The couch is beautiful, and super-comfy (this one is in our family room)....See MoreLuxury of Leather or Cascade Bay leather sectional?
Comments (1)When purchasing leather upholstered furniture it is important to study frame construction, spring construction, cushion construction and the quality of leather. Are the frames kiln dried hardwood plywood or made from hardwood lumber. There are a variety of different types of spring construction. You can do some research and study the merits of each. Ask questions about the type of cushions offered. What type of foam is used in the cushions. How are the cushions wrapped. After you do a little homework you will be able to make an educated decision on what works best for you...See MoreAre Bracci leather sectionals good quality?
Comments (3)IMO sectionals are almost all the time a poor choice and I like leather because it lasts but I would never do aleather sectional. I always buy Italian made leather furniture it is IMO just better so wahy not look at a sofa and 2 chairs the combo is IMO just a great way to buy seating that will always fit in whatever house you move to....See MoreLeather Sectional/Chaise Sofa Help
Comments (3)Every manufacturer of upholstery has huge lead times due to the COVID backlog. Even my trade resources are currently at a 38 week lead time and that's before shipping, which would likely add another 2-3 weeks. So, 8 months is looking pretty good right now, comparatively speaking. You're not likely to find shorter lead times unless you're willing to buy something off the showroom floor (if they would even allow that)....See MoreWellington's Fine Leather Furniture
