Anyone have trouble with Dr. Earth fertilizer?
Comments (24)There are a couple of points to be made that seem to have been overlooked. Dry organic fertilizers used with container plantings are going to be pretty ineffectual. Commercial bagged container or potting soils tend not have the necessary populations of soil organisms required to break them down into a plant usable form. OK for any inground planting but not for containers, despite what the label might indicate. While some nutes might get assimilated and absorbed or taken up by the plants, most of it will be wasted. If you want to stick to organics - ideally not really advised for any containers - then stick with fully liquid ones. That the dry stuff has developed a 'mold' is not unreasonable. Fungal organisms live off the organic matter these products contain and the 'mold' is just the visible sign of these natural decomposers. They will also appear in regular old and unfertilized potting soil as well, as a good percentage of that is also organic matter. In and of themselves they are harmless and won't adversely affect the plants - they feed off of or decompose dead OM, not live plant tissue. But they are often an indication that the potting soil is being kept overly moist and that CAN harm the plants!...See MoreAnyone here have trouble with a Zojirushi bread machine
Comments (10)I just bought the same machine last week 11-29-23. 15 years later the Zo Supreme haven't corrected the problems that you experience back then. I'm disappointed as well! Top crust very light, sides and bottom very dark and crust is extremely like a brick. My old machines produced much better loafs of bread and way less cheaper. This machine is excellent for making dough but not for making bread in the machine. I thought I was buying a machine to do both actions great. NOPE! Perhaps the Virtuoso Plus is better? I would not recommend the supreme model!...See MoreAnyone else having iphone troubles?

Comments (13)I emailed the GardenWeb staff about this problem and this is what they emailed me back to do: You should be able to opt-out of the in-line texts by following these instructions: 1. When you're on a GardenWeb page, hover your cursor on the double-underlined word, but don't click it. You will see an advertisement open in a pop-up box. 2. In the upper-left corner of the box, click the 'V' logo. A new browser window will open the Vibrant in-text advertising page. 3. Scroll partially down this page, and click the 'Disable' tab. Click 'Click here to disable.' The page should update to now say 'Click here to enable.' 4. Close the Vibrant in-text advertising browser window, then once you refresh your main browser window the Vibrant in-text advertising should disappear. I hope this helps! Sincerely, GardenWeb Staff...See MoreElmer J Fudd
