Comments (9)A friend visited London this summer, and saw a parade of various guards coming down the street on horseback, so she started videoing it. In the middle of the parade there was a large carriage, and as it passes, she sees that it contains the Queen. In the background of the video you can hear my friend shouting, "Oh My, look its the Queen its the Queen"...See MoreI'll Show You Mine, If You'll Show Me Yours, Monday Sept 27

Comments (12)Yes, Jodi, a Westie without the Westie haircut. We keep him trimmed but will let him grow out a little now that it's getting cooler. Terrific picture from Bodie. Is it very developed or touristy there now, or just the buildings and that's it? I see, Jim. We don't have that type of jay here in California; we have the scrub jays which aren't as good looking and the Stellars in local mountains which are georgeous birds. Not sure what "yours" is called....See MoreI'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours Tues Sept 27

Today was the Fall Foxfield Steeplechase Races in Charlottesville.
The day started with Jack Russell Terrier races
Through the course of the day they had three races over jumps
one race on the flat.
and my wife worked as one of the outriders (basically hall monitors on horseback) but also to watch to make sure the riders actually jumped the required jumps.
She was concerned that since her horse was a retired steeplechase racer, that he might get out there and see the horses go thundering by, and decide to join in. (He was fine though)
