I like that mock-up. That looks great Rebunky. I just made a "Globe Pendant" IdeaBook on Houzz hoping to find an island Erica's size & specific globe pendants sizes. So frustrating, as either the island size wasn't listed or the pendant size wasn't listed. While I was doing that, you made that great mock-up. I really like the two pics of the black island kitchen you posted earlier and the mock-up looks very much like that size & spacing. The outer pendants might be able to move just a tiny bit closer (a smidge) to the edge of the counter. edit: based on the mock-up, 14" pendants?

@ levy, It is math hon. Second fixture( Home Depot ) Lets assume the attachment uses 5" , the fixture itself is 12 inches, and there are three 12 inch stems and you use one. Add it up. That's 29 inches. Now add the 36 to the counter, and the 36 that IS the counter height. ....101" Ten more inches than you HAVE, floor to ceiling, unless you use no stem at all.. So I would get thee to a Home Depot, and see in person if you are determined to have three, and make sure of total and how you will HANG it. The vanity will be white quartz with wood vanity (shaker style) that will match the floor stain. The question is will the Option A Sabine (glass teardrop) pendant be too big/too long for the room.

Thank you, but I don't consider it a poor design. It's what I wanted and what will fit in the space allowed. What you all don't realize is that it is an L shaped in-law apartment above a garage in my daughter's house. I have no need for a stove, I don't cook much. Portable devices are fine for me and if I want to do anythinig else I can just run downstairs to my daughter's kitchen. I would only put 2 seats there anyway, and if that's not comfortable, I only NEED one for ME. And yes, that is not the question. I just want to know if the lights I picked are too big. I've seen plenty of pictures on this website with large pendants over small spaces. So, general concensus.. yes 3 lights will look fine or no they are too big... simple, no? And the 3 holes/connections have all ready been put in the ceiling for the lights. It's a plaster ceiling so I will be sticking with 3 lights. I'll just pick something out that is smaller in width & length.
