Actually, hopefully tomorrow I'll have time to re- aquascape my 29G aquarium. There is a picture somewhere in the gallery. I just received my compressed CO2 system tonight. I had cut down my aquariums to just the 29 planted with fish and a 55 gallon plant only. I just pruned everything out of the 29 on Saturday and bought a few new fish Sunday. I also have just about completed my basement renevations so I can set up my tanks once more. My plan is to have the 29G re-planted, not sure how I am going to do it. I have a 125G that will be a plant only along with the 55G. All 3 will have compressed CO2 injection. I have also bought a new 75G that will be my first SW attempt, a mixed reef to be exact. But plants on hand at the moment are: Alternanthera reineckii ''roseafolia'' ('Pink'), Aponogeton crispus and boivinianus, African fern/bobites , Purple Cabomba, Bronze Crypt, Amazon Sword, Glossostigma, Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig', Micro Sword/Lilaeopsis novae-zelandiae, Java fern ( on and off driftwood), Myriophyllum aquaticum / Frill/ Parrotsfeather-green, Nymphaea lotus (zenkeri)/ Red and Green tiger Lotus, Riccia fluitans, Rotala rotundifolia , Hornwort,Moneywort Ambulia,WaterSprite and last but not least Anacharis. This is the first time I ever listed them, LOL

I was at several nurseries last weekend and didn't see it in a basket. You might want to try Blodgetts on Edgewater though because they always have the plant. It would be easy to do one yourself. Use fiber liner so it dries out a bit between waterings. You might even want to put in a companion plant or two although the russelia would look great by itself. I have one in the ground and it does quite well there. I had a yellow version too but that didn't do very well last year. You are correct about the hummingbirds; they love it. I like your idea and think I'll try one in a basket. If it turns out nice I'll be sure to give you credit whenever anyone compliments it! You can see it in this picture just to the right of the tree. And here it is mixed in with some salvia.

Hi Amazin , sorry I'm new at this web stuff ( mostly just a lurker) and couldn't find were I wrote to you the 1st time ... me feel so dumb with this puter stuff... but yes I have 9 begonias and 6 are from Logee's, some are named and other are ( pass a along's ) ..... Named ones= Begonia " Richardsiana" B." Snow Capped " B. "Tea Rose" B. "Hot Tamale" B. "Good and Plenty " B, "Tiny Gem " B. " Silver Queen " The Richardsiana has in pass week took a big flop , and so not sure whats up with it , taken it back into house , hope it was just heat stroking from 100 + daze we have been in for pass couple of weeks here in nastyville , so not sure about it. Two other's unknown named ones but pretty just the same and last one I think mite be B. " Sophia Cecile " not sure. I see you have " My Special Angel " have been looking at it in the catalogs . sorry I'm so long winded.... but sure there must be something in your long list that we can work with . P.s. My lilac was in bloom when the last freeze hit, so it lost a lot of it's blooms to that, but will probably bloom again. I have given up on trying to determine it's time of blooming.......other than when ever it feels like it. Yes, the firecracker fern roots from the tips, not the area that you cut. Mine is quite full in it's container so it is easy for me to just take a branch and put the end of in lightly in the soil and it roots that way. I wish Jim would weigh in on this as he was the one who gave me instructions and is certainly more knowledgeable than I. I just did what he told me and it worked.
