Website suggestions for managing illness?
Comments (19)Thank you, DLM. It actually is a relief to ME, to have a concrete way to help., KWIM? Very good point, Olychick. I'm glad to hear of your good health, Seagrass. Yes, one hates to think that people who mean well can become a burden for the person at the center of it all! Thanks for the link. Outside, Thank you. It's such a total shock, She is relatively young and very healthy. Exercises, and very into nutrition. It's never fair for anyone to get sick, but it just underscores how random it can all be.Thanks for your suggestions. Joanie, I think i recall you posting about this, about feeling regrets when you lost a friend. I lost a very young niece, and felt the same way. Perhaps illness makes us all feel "inadequate" because we are. It's a problem we can't fix. Glad you found the link useful; when i read it I thought it was something other people might be able to use. Fun, Glad to hear your illness is past tense! Good to know that the article made sense to someone who can really relate - thanks. Jterri, Thanks so much. Thanks, MaddieLee. Hope your son is doing well. I categorically avoid Facebook. We were on it when it was still quite new, and got into a kerfuffle about who is "friends" with whom and what that means (involving relatives exes' and totally by accident on our part). I don't even know how to use it anymore. Thank you, Annie, you are sweet. My girls' love those little kitten faces (but I swear I think even the photo made me sneeze). Bethpen, thanks, I will look at that. Jade, I am tempted to go with CaringBridge. But no one seems to be mentioning it for its planning function, so I am wondering how good it will be for rides/meals, etc? Maybe I missed it, but has anyone used CaringBridge for that purpose? Thanks again....See MoreSuggestions for a password manager
Comments (15)" Every time you enter a password you are putting it on the internet. " This isn't strictly true. Many sign-ons are encrypted as they travel across the internet. Though those too are accessible by someone who wants to. And for the ones that don't, so what? People are no more liable to financial ruin with someone getting into their Facebook or email account than if someone steals a checkbook. Does anyone keep that and extra checks in a 2 ton safe at home? The most sophisticated and brilliant security experts and systems cannot provide absolute 100% security, especially not against state sponsored internet misbehavior. If someone wants to get some part of your personal information, they can. If someone wants to break into your home, they can. It's nothing to spend time worrying about....See MoreNeed product recommendations to manage a mango disease tree.
Comments (4)Thanks greatly appreciate all the help. Also, I added more pictures with the imgur link and more details about the situation. The tree was already there when I bought the house. The tree is full grown and The house is 70 years old. I assume tree was planted when the house was built. Also, I was using citrus avocado and mango fertilizer, bayer advanced disease control, and neem oil extract. The reason I use this products on the tree because a worker at home-depot recommend me to use them. Lastly Someone from a different forum inform me my mango tree has Colletotrichum gleosporioides (anthracnose) to contact your County extension for help. I think he right about the Colletotrichum gleosporioides (anthracnose) after looking the pictures on the report. Check links below for pictures and reports. https://imgur.com/gallery/GcGtrHA https://www.mango.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Anthracnose_Mangos_Final_Report_Eng.pdf https://ufdcimages.uflib.ufl.edu/IR/00/00/28/58/00001/VH04800.pdf...See MoreNeed product recommendations to manage a mango disease tree.
Comments (3)I suggest diagnosing the problem before applying treatments. If googling doesn't find you an answer, for what is wrong with the tree - you might try your county extension or the nursery from which you bought the tree. Mounts Botanical Garden used to and may still have Master Gardener volunteers whom you could meet with at the garden. They may possibly be able to help through email. Best luck,...See Moreken_adrian Adrian MI cold Z5
