I agree, Apple devices have excellent cameras. On the other hand, other than occasional use in the home, a tablet is a bulky and cumbersome thing to carry around and handle for taking photos. The best thing for taking photos is a camera. There are many moderately priced compact point and shoot cameras that offer more flexibility and will take better pictures than any tablet, even better than ipads.

I have had my almost 10 inch Samsung tab A for several years and it's still going strong and not one issue with it. Got my husband a Samsung tab E last year for father's day and that works good too. I have a small battery operated wireless keyboard for it but seldom use it. Mary

Since an Android Tablet is identical (other than size) to an Android phone but with no "phone", I have both because we have Android phones and iPads. Apple products command a price premium (which I think has allowed Android tablet sellers to creep up their prices too). I'm not sure they're worth the extra money unless ease of use is important and your other devices in the house are from Apple because cross product integration is pretty automatic and slick. iPad firmware makes everything easy but also inflexible. If you've been happy using an Android tablet, you'd probably gain nothing paying extra from an iPad and both product families do essentially the same thing the same way. I would recommend staying away from the low price point ones. In the $200-$300 range you'll find a good selection of Android products from bigger name companies. But be careful, most break when dropped.

Though it wasn't for a Miele dishwasher, I bought the Miele ultra tabs once out of curiosity (I'm a fan of the brand and they had good reviews), and the oversudsing is a serious issue. This was in my last house with average-to-slightly-hard water and a GE Profile dishwasher. I ran it with a full tab and you could hear the machine straining because it was sucking up so much air from the soap suds. It sounded so bad that I was afraid the machine would be damaged. I opened the door and the bottom was all white foam. Cutting them in half helped, and they got the dishes very clean, without any pre-rinsing. However, I never bought, nor will buy, them again. Considering the high price, the fact that I had to perform labor to make it work properly, and the excellent performance I've gotten with Cascade Complete or Kirkland Signature (without extra work and for far less money), the Miele tabs lost their appeal. I also experienced similar oversudsing issues with Cascade Platinum and the latest version of Finish Quantum, so I stick to the aforementioned Complete or KS.
