Whats the cheapest 45mm Rotary Cutter Blade Refill 10 Packs online?

Hi everyone.

I am wondering and just seeking some advice on what are the cheapest Rotary Cutter Blades out there at the moment as I am quite frustrated with paying huge fees for OLFA, Fiskar etc. blades for small pack sizes.

Does anyone know of any decently priced, great quality 45mm Rotary Cutter Refill blades that offer 10 per pack? That hopefully comes in a secure plastic container, as I have grandchildren and the last thing I want is for them to cut themselves with it as well.

A friend recommended me a fantastic new brand, I ordered them a week ago and I will never look back again.

They are inexpensive for the quality and product that you receive.

The brands name is Improved Cut. You will have to buy them off Amazon.com which was fine for me as it offers prime which means that if you order $35 or more they give you free lighting speed delivery. So I just ordered three to stock up anyway.

The blades only cost $15.97 for a 10 pack and the quality both my friend and I agree that they cut better than OLFA's replacement blades.

And don't worry they come in a plastic container so the blades will be safe for storage and disposal.

My first ratary cutter was an Olfa...very small blade. I bought a 45 Fiskars and love it. I also have a Fiskars 65 and use it quite often as well. The only problem with it is, I can not find the blades at too many places. I look for them when I am in Illinois for my family reunion each August. I have never found them here in Canada although I purchase it at WalMart on clearance. Speaking of WalMart, I was into the closest store today and they are closing the fabric dept. I was very surprised at that because they are putting an addition on the store and turning it into a Super Walmart. I spoke to the saleslady and she didn't think that they were going to put fabric in the new store. I got some great deals but will certainly miss it. I went to the next closest store later on in the afternoon and asked if they were closing the dept and the saleslady said she didn't think so since they were always busy. I guess I will just have to wait and see. Mary

Bev, I order Olfa blades from Amazon, I don't recall exactly the price I paid for a pack of 10, but it was close to half of the cost at JoAnne's. The other convenience, they are sold and shipped directly from amazon, and arrive at your doorstep. V.

I want a rotary blade that never gets chipped and never goes dull. Also, it would have a special coating that would prevent it from cutting fingers. And a beeper so if I lose it under a pile of fabric I could quickly find it. If anyone sees that for sale, please let me know. I also want one of those cool hanging gizmos I've seen in quilting videos so I could use cables and clips to hang my quilt from the ceiling while I'm quilting on it. No dragging and no effort to keep it off the floor while sewing. Great for free motion quilting! This isn't a picture of my house, but it shows what I'm talking about. I'm pretty sure DH would be certain I had lost my mind if I started drilling holes in the sewing room ceiling! (Sorry the picture is so big! I just copied the url address.) JoAnn Fabrics on-line sells the 10 pack and if you have one of their 40-50% off coupons, it's a pretty good deal.
