Ordering seeds from the U.S./Heat mats worth it?
Comments (7)Hi Petunia, Yeah, I agree, looking forward to gardening helps us cope with winter! I just wanted to comment on the heat mats. I've used one for years and have had good success rates for germination with it. Germination is faster also. Yes they are small, but I only use it for germination. Once the seeds sprout, the containers are moved under the lights. Also, I seed into small containers to start. Once the seedlings have a couple sets of true leaves I prick them out and transplant into larger containers. That way I can have quite a few containers on the heat mat at once. Good luck and good gardening!...See MoreWaterhog Rugs for wood floor protection
Comments (8)Yes, I have two Waterhog mats, and they are awesome. Definitely worth the money to me. However, they seem to be made of some fibrous, colored material over top of rubber, and in the high spots the fibrous material can wear off over the years. The mat then does not look as good as it did when new, though it still continues to function well. I bought some with an attractive leaf pattern, in a medium brown color to match most dirt, years ago, and they're still working great for me today....See MoreAnti-fatigue mats(gel mats)
Comments (6)Hello, I work from home using a "Stand-up" desk, so I have also been on the hunt for an anti-fatigue mat. After some research I decided on a wellnessmat.com mat, especially after reading all the great things people are saying on Amazon about them. But I haven't tried one in person. I recently went into a Bed Bath and Beyond and tried out a Gel-Pro mat and I think an Imprint mat, and I thought the Gel-Pro didn't add much cushion, not much different than standing on carpet over standard carpet padding and the Imprint, like many others, presses down flat like memory foam does. I just ordered a brown Moire pattern 2 x 3 Wellness mat from Brookstone today (they had free shipping, compared to Amazon or Wellnessmat.com that didn't). I will post back on here my opinion once I've received the mat and have had some time to try it out....See MoreAttractive indoor door Mat that doesn't look like a door mat
Comments (23)I went with a vinyl floor cloth..it's washable and I take it away and stuck it under a guest bed when I don't want to see it they have many nice designs https://www.spicherandco.com/home.php?cat=1398 I bought mine on Garnet Hill though I think..less design choice but same maker..probably was on sale or something https://www.garnethill.com/vintage-vinyl-c2ae-floorcloths/rugs-home-decor/rugs/455303 I'm very pleased with the quality, and how it doesn't move but doesn't get stuck to the wood beneath either...See Morealgeasea
