South facing replacement window advice

Central Ohio location. We are planning on replacing 6 south facing windows this fall. The south of our house is also red brick which absorbs a lot of heat. 4 windows are upstairs, 2 in the master bedroom and 2 in a secondary bedroom. The remaining two are on the main floor. The master is huge and only had one hvac supply. We added a second and it is much more comfortable than any other room upstairs. Generally whatever the temperature is on the main floor it is 10-12 degrees hotter upstairs so summers can be miserable.

What windows would be the best in this situation? We are looking at vinyl replacement. It is much more important to me to keep the upstairs comfortable in the summer than trying to save on a heating bill in the winter so I'm leaning towards a low solar heat gain.

Is it worth the money to spend extra for triple pane when the south side of the house is gaining so much heat due to the brick exterior?

Thoughts / advice appreciated, especially from Windows on Washington.
