Yes, but if that "one" flooded your living room and dining room, both of which had expensive carpet installed 6 months earlier ... it would become a defining moment for you too, lascatx. The dish drawers have been flawless, but they do have a moisture alarm on the floor beneath them. The reason the flood happened? During the night a brain fart happened (in the dishwasher) and water kept filling and flooding out the dishwasher because there was no ability to electronically drain the water. So when DH went to the kitchen to make coffee the next morning, slosh! slosh! We were not happy campers, especially since that dishwasher was about a year old.

As I am sure Alisande will testify..when we go on a photography walkabout for a day it is not in the least unusual to shoot 400 or 500 photos, and I was finding that when I got home I had the photo but had forgotten the pertinent details about the subject. I tried for a while to make written notes, but to be honest my note taking skills are sorely lacking. I then dug out my old digital voice recorder that is about the size of a pack of cigaretts and put that in my pocket, but here again, I was seldom using it like I should have. About 6 months ago I found a tiny digital voice recorder on Ebay for about $18 that is the same size as a digital flash memory for the computer. I now carry that on a lanyard around my neck and use it constantly. About a month ago I took an evening seminar at the local community college and generally I like to record a lecture, but they had a rule, no recorders.... I took my little flash drive recorder and used that and no one was the wiser....LOL The only thing different than a normal flash drive is that it has a small slide switch on the side to turn it on. When you turn it on the red LED flashes three times to indicate its on but the light stays off while its recording so no one realizes it is a recorder. I have even bugged an office by plugging it into the USB port of a computer that was turned off and turned the recorder on. Nobody pays any attention to a flash drive plugged into the computer. Boy did I get some juicy gossip that time. It's amazing what ppl say about you when they know your not around...LOL . It will record up to 4.5hrs.

Attached is drawing I put together a while back before actually looking at furniture, thinking I could fit up to eight which is all the adults. Then I surprisingly found this inexpensive collection I very much like (bought the ottoman for the bedroom and really like the chenille feel, deep navy) at Bobs Furniture. The color and fabric are just what Im looking for (I prefer the nubby chenille feel over smooth fabric). BEVERLY, those are the very tables I like from the website and I think your layout looks great but concerned not much seating - dinners tend to be everyone at one home so when at our place, nice for everyone to relax afterwards with TV without having to use chairs from dining room. But if its just too cramped, I may have to - just really wanted to make more seating work dining chairs just not as comfortable. SECTIONALS while Ive not found one in the color/texture like this, worse is them being too long against wall with entry door.

Sending goods/don't send goods has presented quite a quandary! All one can do is follow the guidelines of the distribution center your group/organization is sending to. The first truck left our area on Thursday morning, ahead of the intended schedule because it was full the day before. They had already started filling a second tractor trailer. Then, word started getting out that goods should not be sent. Money was the best way to go. The church organizers panicked, not sure what to do. So many people had advance notice and were, at the very moment, working to fill the truck. You can't just suddenly say to people that we are no longer accepting donations, they don't want it down there. Money only. Fortunately, by that time, the truck was already down there and the driver said, Yes!, send it on! He said many things were going right off the truck into peoples cars. Particularly air mattresses, play yards, portable chairs. And the distribution center said, Yes!, send it! So, the second truck left on Saturday afternoon. But they also followed the guidelines of the church distribution center, which asked for no clothing and no used items. Also, different groups have been raising cash. We had bbq chicken dinners Sunday. $10 a plate, a little more than usual, but it was for a great cause and tasted delish! Our volunteer fire department knows how to bbq chicken! ETA: Just looked at the church website and I was wrong. They are accepting clothing items such as socks and t shirts that are pre-packaged. This is the group my community is working with. I'm sure different organizations have their own guidelines.
