I think I saw a caddy that was adhered using the 3M sticky strips and hooks. The container was about 10" long and 3" wide. I can't remember where I saw it, Target, Lowes, HD ?

Benje did you adhere it to fiberglass? What about the bar soap. I can't see my boys wanting to use shower gel.

Yup. Small fiberglass shower insert with no ledges of any kind. We kept bottles on the floor until I found this sweet solution.

One section for body wash, for shampoo and for conditioner. We just use dove bodywash in costco sizes. Husband included. Hmm... I haven't bought bar soap in almost 20 years. Maybe if you just bought the body wash version of their bar soap they'll transition easily to something in the dispenser. It's not like you're filling it with pink floral scented stuff.

Hmm. True, very true on the florally scents. I like that you actually have used it with success AND it's reasonably priced AND there is always always a coupon. I need to read up more on it and see where it would make most sense to put it. It looks kind of large. I'll check the specs. Thanks!

Benjesbride, you've got me interested in that for my kids showers. Are the buttons easy to push?

Buttons are easy to push. We never had a problem other than I had to add a bit of water to the body wash/ shampoo/ conditioner to thin it out so it they would pump thru easier. I consider that a bonus though; more water, less product used :-)

I mentioned this before in another thread, but our first wall mounted dispenser was a $60+ simple human trio and I did not like it at all. I do not recommend it. It has three separate lids instead of one and are difficult to remove. Since it's a stainless steel like finish it was water spotted all the time. The Simple Human didn't fit snug in the corner of the shower like the one I like and it takes up more space. And then there's the $40+ price difference.

Hanging heavy things off your shower arm makes plumbers and contractors happy. Their bills will be more than a wall full of stick on caddies

kippy - that is what I don't want - something hanging off the shower head. I want something that will be affixed to the wall....and not fall off.

benje-thank you for mentioning your experiences with the simple human one also. That one popped up on BB&B's site when I was looking at the one you pictured and I was wondering if it would be worth the extra $$. So nice to have a review from someone who has actually used both! Now I need to get myself to the store and get it done.

I have just ended up using my tub edge, which isn't too bad but makes keeping clean a bit harder. I never found any tape/hook type attaching 'things' to work even where the water never hits them...

If your tub/shower walls have any texture, I don't think suction will work for you. Needs to be flat, smooth, and glossy. And I am guessing on a wall that is out of the sun.

We have a stainless suction caddy for shampoo/conditioner etc. in our MBA, after nearly a year it has never fallen off. Ditto the suction soap dish. Got them off amazon.com. I think it is this one.

We have the same one in our rarely used guest bath shower and it used to fall off the wall all the time, even when empty -- until I switched it to a different wall where the sun does not hit it. Now it is fine.

(I also have one in our kitchen sink to hold dish soap, sponge, garbage disposal thingie, so those are off the counter)

Wondering if it will mount to tile (unglazed) without hardware? I hate the idea of drilling holes in my shower walls!

The dispenser I posted has a plastic wall mount that adheres to the shower wall with (iirc) foam tape. The dispenser is a separate, single unit that slides into the mount from the top.

I'd take pics for you all, but we haven't put one in the new house yet. (I'm trying to get the kitchen finished.) The dispensers were used in the old house for years.

Nope there will be none of that. 15 bucks is all I would be out and I had to do something. I have tried the suction cups before and they never lasted. This thing had good long lasting reviews besides yours. If it fails I will blame the installer and that's ME!

I am so happy to not have that soggy bar soap X 2 (they refuse to share) running down the shower. Plus there is barely enough room for a shampoo bottle the ledges are so small.

So yeah, no worries. :D
