Burnt Ridge is a grower and Raintree is for the most part a middleman. Their value is their large selection. However, I have had repeated quality control issues with them over a long period. When an item is offered by both and still in stock I would always try to get it from Burnt Ridge first. Some of their plants can be dinky but others are quite nice. When I was on a tour there some years ago I was impressed by their approach to production of field stock and the results they were getting (as well as their seemingly extensive collection of chestnut and walnut trees, something on a par with the National Collection system plantings of garden plants they have in England - maybe I'm wrong but surely Burnt Ridge has been growing way more kinds of these than they sell).

Some advantages of ventilated shelving: 1. Ventilation. Items on these shelves have air circulating around them, helping keep them fresh. 2. Dust doesn't settle on wire shelves as much as it does on plywood. 3. Mice and bugs don't find dark corners in which to build nests or webs. 4. Adjustability. Shelves can fairly easily be raised or lowered etc. for different configurations. 5. Usually wire shelves are fairly easy to install. 6. Low maintenance: wire shelves don't need painting. 7. Wire shelves can be removed and re-used elsewhere if desired.

I could be wrong, but I don't think those brackets are supporting the shelves. With no bracket in the corner, I don't believe that you can build structurally sound shelves this way. I think they are floating shelves with decorative brackets. I could be wrong. Maybe someone with actual carpentry skills can weigh in, both on how the shelves in the picture were hung and whether you can make floating shelves strong enough. I would suggest you go to cabinet shop in your area first to see if they can help. There are lots on google but don’t seem to be any with samples to see color.
