Auto-fill Humidifiers for an Apartment

Hi, I am going to take delivery of a brand new C. Bechstein paino soon and would like to install a humidifier to protect the instrument. I evaluated a very good one that requires me to fill the tank every other day. After one week of use, I banished it to the corner to collect dust.

Manually filling the humidifier tank only works for a small minority of people. I must find something that doesn't require any manual involvement. But most of these auto-fill humidifiers work with a furnace, while I live in an apartment in NYC with central stream heat. Luckily I found a couple of humidifier that take the water from the kitchen or bathroom water supply and drain back to the kitchen/bathroom waste drains; one of them being Nortec's RH2. Does anyone here have experience installing RH2 or the likes? Are there other products like RH2? I'm worried about servicing RH2 because most major stores like Home Depot don't carry it.

Michael
