Many others including myself have had difficulties posting pics for over a month. I am on a PC. Some have had success posting a pic first then adding text. Clearly some folks are having no trouble at all regardless of method.

So this seems to be a Houzz problem.

Kathy, no problems with my ipad, must be Houzz.

I've had problems in the past, intermittently. I've found that Houzz doesn't like the Nikon format (neither does anything else except photo shop) and a photo that is too big.

Sometimes It just won't upload my photo and there is no reason obvious to me. I use a PC.

I've had sporadic hiccups where it just wouldn't allow me to post anything. I emailed Houzz - no explanation. Occasionally, it won't post a photo but these blips have curbed my enthusiasm somewhat. I believe it's Houzz, not iPad-related.

I've emailed also with no response. Maybe they just have a rolling blackout on photo postings to curb our enthusiasm.

Your picture must be in photos ,the photo icon on your iPad . Then you can select it and it should show up.

You also need to make sure you have turned on photo sharing in I cloud or photos in settings.

ok picture that you see at the top is one I uploaded to my Houzz ideas book first. Then by clicking Houzz Photo button at the bottom it alowed the upload.

Fwiw, I don't store my photos on iCloud. I just keep them in my "camera roll" and retrieve from there when I want to post any. When I've run out of space, I organize and delete a lot I don't need, then store them on a CD or a thumb/memory stick. I realize I am not utilizing all the lovely functions/applications of the iPad but this very simple retrieval works for me.

occasionally I synchronize all my devices to my PC but that's a job better performed during the winter than now. I am so tired of this silly iPad forgetting to capitalize at a new paragraph! Aargh!

I don't understand why we are having these Houzz glitches. I guess they've stopped monitoring our posts...the honeymoon is over! Lol. Back in Feb. and March, even into April we had some great support....:(

I also don't store photos in the Cloud, keep them on ipad and occasionally back up to an external hard drive after transferring to laptop.

I think perhaps the photo has to be IN your device, not just linked to another place (cloud or webpage). Try downloading the photo first then do the link and see if that works. This can be very frustrating, I know.

I have photos stored on my iPad. As I'm composing a post here I touch the icon labeled Photo and nothing happens. None of the icons below are active. I don't even have a chance to look for a photo to post.

edited: as you can see the Bold and italics icon also work for me.

You have to click on the settings icon and then click on photos or iCloud . Make sure that share photos is on.

With Apple's recent update of their operating system, this has caused an issue with those icons/links not being clickable. We are working to find a resolution as quickly as possible.

I don't know nothin' 'bout no iPad (it's on my wish list tho). I use a PC, but I do have an iPhone. And in my work I deal with lots of misc computer/tablet/internet problems. I'm going to suggest a browser issue... Check the settings. Have you allowed cookies? Also, since it's an Apple product, are you using Safari to access the Internet? On my iPhone I actually prefer Chrome for ease of use...don't know if you can choose that or install it on the tablet...but IMO it would be worth a try.

For those of you using IPads, this is definitely an issue with the latest upgrade to Apple's operating system. Our tech team has been working on a fix and it will, hopefully, be pushed out today.

There are many of us on this and other forums having difficulties posting from PCs. It has been happening for over a month - so help for us too please.

Your team is awesome and we really appreciate the assistance with these issues.

So happy I haven't uploaded the latest version of IOS, especially since it is all about Apple Music which I don't use. I waited ten months before I uploaded 8 and I was glad I did. IOS 9 is being released this fall...I can wait to see what problems that causes!

As I wrote in my Aphrodite post, I had to rotate my photo to the left in my PC so It would show straight up in my GW post. This was never ever required on any PC I had, any version of operating system, any webbrowser and any website I accessed. This is a houzz problem.
