Definitely carnosa. I spent my morning whacking up my mother's old carnosa to restart it after discovering she was growing it in a pot with no drainage holes! It had at least a quart of water floating on top. Does this not prove that carnosa is nearly indestructible? Yikes! It's been in that pot for years...I filled a 14" pot with cuttings, took a sack full of cuttings home, and threw away about as much as I put in her new pot. Oh, and you wouldn't believe the soil she had it in. "Oh, that's some topsoil I used in the garden," she says. Double yikes! Denise in Omaha

when I bought it it was a sorry looking thing all dried out and most of the leave was mushy. I brought it home cut the dead branches off and pinched off all the mushy leave and placed it in a south window here in Idaho. It is putting on new growth
