Grouping evergreens with a decduous tree

User

There's a central area of my garden where I would like to put some trees. I'd like to sort of create a sculptural group; I was thinking something like this: one Italian cypress, one weeping juniper, and one Cercis canadensis Forest Pansy. Could something like this work? How do I regulate spacing? I'd want the trees to "read" visually as a group, together: vertical cypress form, rounded Cercis form, weeping evergreen as a sort of transitional form betwee the two...any suggestions? I'm in Tuscany, Italy; I'd guess about a zone 8.
