Someone please tell me what these are...Lemons/Limes?
So we bought a new house with some citrus trees, and we've identified everything... Except these behemoths. I've heard alot of preliminary assessments but so far I'm not convinced. I'll take as many pictures as you may need to help me. Here's a few facts.
The tree is old. At least 10 years I'd say, though the previous owner didn't know. It's got LONG tall singular branches that grow straight up above the majority of the bushiness of tree. The main part of the tree is probably 8ft in diameter and around 10-12 ft high, with some of the upshoots reaching 16ft+. The fruit is as you see it. LARGE and plentiful, with the tree having at least 50-60 of these in various stages. I'm including a picture of different sizes we have on the tree now. The fruit seems to take FOREVER to ripen, and we've seen them turn yellow. Often when we've cut them open they are VERY VERY DRY and hard, with a THICK Rind and almost ZERO juice. Not sure what to do with this tree or the fruit. Now, I know what a bunch of others have guessed, but tell me what you think?

Comments (7)You might start a new thread with your pink rose and include any information you can like how old it may be, thorniness, fragrance, etc. After the bud shows color it may be cut. There are very few that can only be cut later (that will refuse to open up). I cut to an outward facing leaf cluster, trying to leave at least 2 leaf nodes on the lower stem. If I were in a cold winter climate and wanted the rose to be taller I would cut with a shorter stem but also to an outward facing leaf cluster to have new growth go that direction. To explain above post. Most roses are grafted. Their roots (and center stem-cane) belonged to a different rose. Growers use Dr. Huey roots as well as a couple of others. If these roots produce a cane underneath the grafted new rose, it's usually called a sucker. And being as it's vigorous it will hog the water and nutrients. It will produce Dr. Huey flowers (only in the spring) which are red and the rest of the year it grows, and grows, and grows. Comments (4)Looks like a Sempervivum to me. Many are cold hardy down to -20F and would prefer to be grown outside. Imo these are not houseplants. I have yet to see beautiful Semps grown inside....See Moretim45z10
