Planted a large maple from nursery and leaves are turning yellow

I planted a few maples last week about 12 ft tall. A few days later some leaves turned yellow and now about a quarter of the trees are yellow. It's like the outer edge of the leaves turns yellow first. I don't know what to do. The nursery instructed is to give a good thorough watering once a week and twice if hot. I'm in eastern Canada. I don't want to lose my trees. We dug the hole and put in mixed soil from the same nursery that recommended it. Put in bone meal add per their instructions. Took off the wires and burlap around the root ball, and put the tree in and back filled with the same soil and put mulch on top

Is this normal behaviour for a newly transplanted tree?
