Terminology: Ton usually refers to A/C output(12000 BTU/ton). In reference to furnace, it is shorthand for fan speed based on 400CFM/ton. Since different size A/C units can be matched with difference size furnaces(depending on location and house characteristics), Furnaces are sold with two size parameters: heat output(BTU) and air fan speed. The latter must match the A/C unit(heating is much less sensitive to ducts). Fan speeds are adjustable within a range by dip switches on the main circuit board. Finally, furnace fan speed should be appropriate for the size of the main duct the air is blowing thru. Too small ducts cause a variety of problems including uneven air temperature, excessive temperature fluctuations in rooms closest to HVAC unit, excessive wind noise and coil freezeup.

Gmail is not a fancy email service like Exchange -- it is a simple pop/smtp account. As such, it is basically a repository for your email. You have to set up an account to access the gmail repository on each device separately, and each device lets you enter a "name" which can be anything you want -- so you could change your name to be "Mtn's iphone" for your phone, "Mtn's ipad" for your ipad, or even "Barrack Obama" if you want to freak out your email recipients for a minute. The phone doesn't care what you put in there.

You would need at least a 3 GB flash drive to copy to. I would get a 4GB just to make sure. If you just put the DVD in your computer, then insert the USB into a port, both should show up in the 'My Computer' list (open it in the bottom left corner). Click on the DVD device (right click), copy the contents, then paste using another right click to the USB device. It should take a few minutes or less. Just check to make sure it actually copied, and you are done.

The chairs were purchased at HomeSense a few years ago! As for whether anybody sits in them, I guess it all boils down to personal preference. I chose them bec I have a small space and they don't close the sight lines off to the kitchen. Most people assemble at the kitchen island located behind the chairs. If people want to sit in them, there are pillows for them to place behind their backs. Now, what about that Ottoman I asked about?
