Historically there were complaints regarding v2.2. In response I never upgraded my prior system from the old reliable v1.6.2. I am not using SB at all on this new system as I find SAS and MWB sufficient. Since both versions are " All Windows versions" capable I recommend doing research as to current complaints. DA

When I installed Avast on my computers, it automatically disabled Windows Defender. So if this is a true statement, I don't know how you managed it unless you intentionally re-enabled it after the fact. My choice would be to not run Defender and Avast at the same time...but that's just me.

Both Android and the Apple operating systems for phones and tablets aren't 100% safe (nothing in life is) but they're both sitting on customized versions of Linux (which has pretty tight security features). I've never heard of anyone having a problem with either types of devices but I'm sure it happens, however rarely. The best security is a careful user, no matter what device is involved.
