Comments (11)I've seen these wreaths are made with cuttings that are either rooted or not rooted. The most common way I've seen online is the not rooted one. So it stands to reason that some will rot in place if the moss stays wet too long and the plants are too closely packed for good air circulation. First, if there is a wire structure that forms the heart, you might be able to attach a wire to it and hang it outdoors in a partially shaded area. Let it hand so the water can drip out and the air can help dry it. Then water it when needed....See MoreGot worms for my birthday!
Comments (14)I've got red wigglers too. But mine are in a container, inside. I read that you are not supposed to let them loose outside, i.e. compost pile. Sorry I can't remember why. We have a friend that raises them, but he keeps them contained somehow outside. I'll try and find out more for you. Maybe you can find a site on the web that will tell you more? I don't think you're nuts! A friend of mine got a deluxe worm farm for Christmas last year....See MoreLook what I got today. Aren't they pretty/

Comments (8)I agree morz8, my DIL to be is a very caring thoughtful young lady. No doubt, she was a much responsible for the basket as DS. LOL DS has been dating her for 6 years. They just built a beautiful house, moved in together at Christmas. I told DH a couple of years ago, if he let her get away I smack him up side the head, HARD! He finally popped the question on Saturday and she said yes! It was wonderful spending the drive to Calgary with them to the airport, discussing what they would like to do for a wedding. Sounds like a very small destination wedding. They are talking about maybe Alaska or the Yukon in June. I think that would be a fantastic backdrop for their wedding....See Moreterilyn
