Comments (3)#2 is a Notocactus/Parodia, I do not dare to guess the species right now. #3 is not a "Bishop's hat" (Astrophytum myriostigma), it is a columnar cactus. Comments (4)I don't know if your other cacti will work (maybe opuntia???). They are grafted on hardy and vigorous-growing rootstock, and there are few being used. Do you know how to graft? Here is the link to one of the sites explaining about grafting Did youactually order those? IMO, knowledgeable vendor would at least mention that they need to be grafted. Hopefully you didn't have to pay for them. Very few ppl grew them without graft to 'support life'. These are mutants that completely lack chlorophyll, without that photosynthesis is impossible - that's why they die. Even grafted, they typically don't live for too long since the base plant usually outgrows the grafted one....See MoreSarah Taylor
