iespell will work for your typing into the reply boxes here and other places on line that you would need it to. It should have put a little iespell icon on your browser toolbar. I never use IE anymore but I have used IEspell for years back when I did. What version of IE are you using? click up top on help then about IE and it will tell you the version. Don't be to quick to judge a person for bad grammar, especially if the person is older like a lot of us. Finding words sometimes is very difficult as you age. My husband has AZ and he lost nouns so eventually he couldn't speak to others at all. Also people with dyslexia and other problems can't speak well. You have no idea how long it takes me to compose an email or a post in these forums, partly because of proof reading so I will not offend anyone and I don't have any of the above problems. I am just old as dirt. I have learned in forums that you can speak just a few words and you will be judged forever as one you don't want to be friendly with. On a lighter note, I found when raising small children you lose some of your grammar skills. For instance one child used the word "gots" as in I gots lots of candy. Pretty soon all the parents were saying "gots". LOL

I received this long, kind of esoteric text from my 7 year old grandson. He doesn't have a phone, but I figured he was watching something on his tablet and decided to text me. It was a bit troubling to me because he's a good communicator and speller, but some of the things he wrote were a bit morose and I got worried about why he was feeling that way. The next day when I saw him, I asked him about it and what was going on when he texted me. "Oh, g'ma, you know those words that pop up when you're writing? I just clicked on those words that came up!" It was pretty funny, when I realized that's what he'd done, written a whole text with autosuggest. Now when he does it (only a couple of times since) I text his parents and tell them he's drunk texting again.

I think that is what the problem is, I am typing along, a little box comes up and before I can get rid of the darn thing, all my message/letter/word etc/., is GONE/ I know how to get it back, but would prefer not having to do that to begin with, I think the box is for spell check or sumpin like that, there are several things to check, just so darn aggravating, more and more it comes, and I am getting older by the minute ! Thanks to anyone that can help out here, haven't been here in a while, so many of the good oldtimers are gone too, but being smart doesnt hurt either. Thanks again, hoping for some responses.
