Casey, love that blue-eyed grass. It is one of those little things in nature that very few people notice. It grew in a few places around the yard at our Ohio home some 40 years ago. Haven't seen it since then.
11 years agoI haven't seen blue-eyed grass in years either.
I couldn't ID these extremely tiny and sparkly insect eggs, but KT members came to my rescue and told me they're from the Spined Soldier Bug, or Stink Bug. I was hoping for something more exotic and appealing. LOL

Comments (14)Except for the vegetarians at the party nearly everyone tried the zombie arms. In past years I would make 2 tenderloin "arms" and would use chicken wings for the fingers, and often they'd be gone even before all the guests had arrived. Comments (23)I found my first Violettos at a hardware store. For two years they had an amazing seed rack with different varieties of veggies not usually grown around here and some from Italy. Then they stopped. That's when I ordered a catalog online and from then on purchased from there. You know that they turned bright green when cooked right? Aren't Rattlesnake beans also mottled purple? I'm curious now.
