Tachometer setup: Sparks per RPM on Honda GCV190

I am trying to install small tachometer/hour meter on my Honda lawn mower. It is equipped with 4-stroke air cooled Honda GCV190 engine. Does anyone know how many sparks per crank revolution does it have? I figured most of small 4-stroke engines would have 1 spark per revolution (half cycle) followed by the "wasted" spark on exhaust stroke. Some small engine would have spark every other revolution (without the "wasted" spark).

Please do not suggest to connect it and see what it does. I have already tried running this tachometer on 1 spark per revolution and it came up to about 3400 rpm... so there is no way to determine if it is correct. Yes, it is within the operating range, so is 1700 rpm, if you switch it to 1 spark every other revolution.

Does anyone know EXACTLY how many sparks per revolution on this particular Honda engine? Please, kindly, DO NOT contribute if you are just guessing... I've read bunch of guessing online already and it is not helpful to anyone.
