Brown spots on tomato leaves followed by curling and wilting

Steve Rocke

I am wondering if you could look at these pictures and let
me know what you think might be wrong with my tomatoes. Virtually all of the 48
plants look like this to some degree. At first I thought it was a nutrient
problem, however, I am now wondering if it is a disease or pest.

The lower branches seem to get it first. We remove those regularly. Notice in one picture that the end of the fruit on one plant is developing a black area. This doesn't happen on all plants. There is another picture of an almost ripe fruit with cracking on the top.

Is there anything I can do to salvage this year’s harvest?
Should I do something different next year?

Thanks!
