Ah, another kerrii fan! There was a time that I could not pass up a kerrii. Now that I have most of the variations, I can finally control myself! Clones vary. It usually has something to do with where that particular clone originated in the wild, but it sometimes has to do with "sports." A "sport" is just an unusual growth that someone removes from the main plant and roots to grow on it's own. Sometimes the growth goes back to normal, and sometimes it continues to grow in it's "different" way, which results in a sport. The weird Jades, like 'Hobbit' and 'Gollum' are sports of a regular Jade. Anyway, could one of them be 'Hairy Kerrii' or the veined clone? I have these two in addition to the standard kerrii, and you can't really see a difference in photos. In fact, unless you were very observant, you might not even realize there was a difference until someone pointed it out to you. But leaf size does vary a lot. Here are the different ones I grow: the veined clone... ...'Hairy Kerrii'... ...variegated... ... and below is the reverse variegated, which doesn't keep its coloring in the winter for me. Wow, that is a nice size! I am growing one I started from 3 cuttings in May and it doesn't have that many leaves! The things I have found out is to be careful not to overwater this one, and that they grow best in a sturdy stable pot with a trellis, instead of hanging baskets. And train them on the trellis before the stems get too old because they get hard to bend. I plan on getting another, probably like yours because mine is not the variegated one, and regardless of what I have heard, I want to try growing it in a hanging basket. Also, I briefly put mine in morning sun and it faded the leaves considerably.

This one snuff off down the list! I always make sure cuttings are good and moist, and for the most part, you want them to stay that way until they root and you see new growth. Not soggy, mind you, but constantly damp - don't let them dry until you have a good root system as dryness tends to kill the delicate new roots. Your variegated cuttings will produce variegated growth. Some variegates are unstable, but I find this one to be pretty stable, though an INCREDIBLY slow grower!
