Hot pepper suet

We have found that hot pepper suet is something that the squirrels will avoid, but noticed that we were going through a cake of it in under 2 days. Saw that Crows were getting on it. A clear dome took care of them, but now we're going through a cake of it about every 4 days.

What we've seen is 4 or more grey catbirds who tag-team it from dawn till dusk. One will be sitting & waiting while the other is feeding. It's gotten to the point where we don't see other birds because of so much competition from the catbirds.

Is there a way to keep catbirds off a suet feeder?
