Lettuce seed germination

Hey folks,

I have a question about germinating lettuce seed. I seeded four flats of lettuce this morning. I dropped the seeds on top of the soil in the plugs, lightly pressed them in, misted them in, and then covered them with humidity domes. I then proceeded to place the flats outside to get the seeds exposed to light because of photodormancy. In running around all day I forgot about the seeds for about an hour and a half. It turned out to be a scorcher of a day (about 94 degrees) and when I came back the seeds which had been moist not too long ago had dried up along with the top layer of soil. If I had to guess the soil/seed was left to dry for about an hour. Are these seeds toast? Should I just reseed tomorrow? Thanks for any insight/advice
