iPad design app?

I have an old Sierra CD kitchen and bathroom, that I run on my desk top that's really easy to use. Want a bump out wall enter feet and inches or just inches and plug in height width length and drag and drop. Drop in a tub pick the closest looking design and plug in the right size...done.... I get over head and elevation visuals and have some creative control on colors/ textures. But it helps me see it! Not the xy system that I have no clue what they are talking about and it comes with a 350 page book. Does anyone know of an iPad app that works real easy like I described? I don't mind paying a little something for it. I just think I am more likely to start on my projects if I get to do it on the iPad. I tried google sketch and I don't have the time or brain power to remember how to do what they say. I need super simple anyone got any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I find RoomPlanner to be quite easy. And for I think 1.99 you can add ability to type in sizes and height (vs dragging length/width, which gets frustrating). I've had very good experiences planning my kitchen and great room with it, as well as playing with other people's rooms when helping on threads here.

I also use room planner, quick & easy to learn (AKA super simple).

Thanks for sharing. I do have subscriptions to two magazines via my nook, which I enjoy. However, decorating mags, I want the real thing, and yes, many I save. I have gotten better and will often tear out pages to keep rather than the whole mag, but still have many old issues I want to keep. Occasionally I go back and look through old mags! LOL tina

I'm back and I figured out how to copy a picture from this forum into my iPad and doodle on it using this app. Yes, it's pretty cool! I worked on Nana2009's king sized quilt. After using it for one hour here are my problems: 1. there is not tool to make straight lines. You can draw pretty straight lines, but there is no drag-a-line image. 2. A photo of an entire quilt is too small to really effectively draw the quilting lines. I think individual blocks or close ups of the quilt would work much better. There is a way to zoom in when you are drawing, but I don't think that anyone else will be able to see the details once I zoom back out. 3. I don't know how to export/upload the photo to photo bucket. There is probably a way, but I haven't been able to figure it out yet. I was able to email it to myself, so hopefully from my email I can put it in photo bucket. Overall, it was fun and I really like the feature that corrects slightly for wobbly lines. If I'm successful in uploading the picture, I'll put it here and on the thread that Nana2009 started. Thanks again for suggesting this fun program!

I have the NYTimes app and find it OK. It was updated not too long ago so your issue might have been resolved. I also have another app called just CROSSWORDS. You used to be able to get the NYTimes crossword on it but sadly the NYTimes revoked permission for that. However, you can use the app to solve some other papers' crosswords, as well as puzzles from some independent puzzle makers, even some cryptic crosswords if that's your thing! My favorite is Newsday... the regular weekday puzzles are all very easy but Saturday is a killer! I have an Android phone but I assume it is also available for iPhone.
