Window Replacement … CGI vs. PGT (continued)

I forgot to ask this question in my earlier post. I've read somewhere that annealed impact glass versus regular heat strengthened glass is better in eliminating distortion in windows. Is this true? If so, do you know who much more the annealed impact glass costs? Also does PGT or CGI offer this option? I do have a door in the back installed a few years ago that has the double pane impact, and it does have some distortion in it. Just wondering. We also are installing a large picture window flanked by two smaller casements.

The picture window is (50 w by 60l). Someone said that sometimes when you order a larger piece of glass (clear) that it might look different (more green) that the other smaller windows? Any truth to that??
