Thank you Kimram :) Which "mood" glass did you choose? Yes, I clean all three materials with the 50/50 solution. Remember, I don't have a shower as mentioned in by the OP. Yes the grout lines are sealed as well as the glass and tumbled travertine. I didn't want to darken the travertine so we used a water based sealer, not an enhancer. Same for the granite countertop. Sealing glass tiles before grouting is important because the fine lines and "crazing" in some glasses WILL be stained by the grout. I don't believe you can seal polished travertine. The sealer can't penetrate. My bathroom floor is 18" porcelain. I use a steam mop on all the tile in my house, including the travertine in the entry. I use a microfiber cloth and the water/alcohol to wipe down the travertine and glass on the walls, on the granite, wipe down appliances, windows...it's become my go to cleaner. Use a spray on granite polisher ever once in awhile. Good luck :) Can't wait to see your beautiful finished bathroom. Monica

Bump. Brick is a specific type of flooring that is traditionally VERY porous (like a hard sponge). It takes plenty of work just to keep it looking "not bad". I'm not well versed in this type of floor (I know enough to stick with brick-look porcelain). These bricks will need be viewed as stone floors that are SUPER porous (think chalk) that require +++treatment possibly many times per year. I know the old-timers used to WAX their brick floors....keeps them shiny. But it is PLENTY of work. Like 3/year type of application type of work. If you want shiny, I think you have to remove and replace with porcelain tiles that have the same look. Sorry but brick is porous = non-shiny.

@SJ McCarthy Everyone has been super helpful and either the brick is a look you like or you don't which I get but no one has mentioned the brick against the wood laminate except you. The washed grayish brown brick looks completely fine against my existing wood laminate - I included a picture with my floor and the brick tiles and there is nothing wrong with it. The reddish brown brick suggested here is also a washed looked and something I am considering. Both the brick I selected and the tone that was suggested are warm. You say that I am trying to add a very warm floor to cool tones, but how is that wrong? You can mix gray/white cool tones in the same room as warm tones so I am not following where you say that is an issue. I see it all over Pinterest and HGTV with gray walls and orangish brown wood floors and the same toned wood in bamboo shades and baskets so..... And yes, I am saying I want a floor to add warmth due to all the cool tones. Most people select wood floors to add the warm element. I am in a situation where I can't add wood floors so I need another option. I have looked at silver travertine, brown travertine and everything in the middle. I've been to 4 flooring stores. I do not like the look of travertine because I see too much orange in the options that would go with my color scheme. I appreciate your suggestion but I spent $4,000 on the laminate I have throughout my downstairs 3 years ago. It's not going anywhere anytime soon.

No way. Did you receive a sample prior to ordering and did it represent what you received when you ordered? We would refuse as well and TileBar needs to step up. Don't back down with them. We would refuse this for multiple reasons, including those stated above but also what looks like very suspect marble quality just based on your photo. Do pay attention to the country of origin when considering tile from an online source. Basically, it cannot be installed to their specifications OR industry standards without taking the sheets apart and hand setting the individual mosaics. Now that's an expensive install!
