My neighbor has one and the berries are great, south of Austin. There is a huge stand of them in Seguin near a park and they were great also.

why do you want to buy this weed? It's a small tree here, invasive and if the nurseries sold it we would laugh at them.

Find a plant swap for Houston and ask if anyone has one they can bring. It grows wild in the Houston area. Now, where I live, elderberry does not grow wild here and I definitely would have to bring in another variety to be able to have berries! Mine bloom every year, but no berries!

Tally, I can't even imagine what it's like where you live but here, it stays in its place unless near water and pretty and makes great wine, lol of course I haven't had the wine in decades

it grows all over my yard and I am constantly pulling it, the neighbors don`t bother and it`s a small tree that is hanging over the fence in the alley. The berries go everywhere and sprout, then it sends off runners too. Yuck!
