Would you every purposely grow any if these in your shade garden? It is mostly wildflowers, with lots of peonies, lilies, and flowering trees/shrubs. I'm seeing that many consider them weeds and some purposely grow them. They appear to all be growing in strategic areas (as if purposely placed there by previous owner) and they were well-established when we bought the house. I'm trying to decide whether or not to remove them. I'm not sure I feel strongly about them currently.

Evening primrose (oenothera biennis)-- towers over the Black-eyed Susans, sedum, blue mist flower

Horsetail-- sparsely mixed in with hostas and epimedium

Bishops weed (aegopodium podigaria) as a ground cover behind said hostas and epimedium

White avens (geum canadense)-- as a ground cover around lilies, peonies, hibiscus, white snakeroot, cup plant, etc.

Virginia creeper (parthenocissus quinquefolia)-- climbing fence

Would you consider these weeds or friends? I'm on the fence with some and wanting to get rid of others. What would you do with them? Keep or destroy?
