Please Help to ID this Tiny Insect

Please help me to identify this insect, its very tiny and unnoticeable seems like a dust (the photos if highly zoomed in) , I found it in different places of my house in corners under the bed and under carpets, tried to get rid of it by several ways, spraying insects pesticides and cleaning with kerosene without success.

Please help me to identify this insect and please advise how to get rid of it.

I live in Alexandria, Egypt, its a costal city humidity about 75% during summer season.

Thanks! I always thought aphids were white or light green (what I see on my veggies from time to time)so I never considered them as a possibilty here. Would spraying them off with a hose be acceptable to rubbing them off? Even with gloves on, I know I'll be "feeling" them all over for days....

They don't jump :( They just crawl around on their little drip irrigation highway. Up close I THINK they have 6 legs. I thought they might be mites of some sort but looking up mites and garden in google gives me results of mites that destroy vegetation...these things aren't interested in anything green. I have seen some red mites attacking them but the red mites are vastly outnumbered. I read on google I can put a drop of water on the lens of my iphone camera to turn it into a temporary macro lens. I'll try it this evening.

Thank you tj, The greenhouse is very simple, a temporary structure of PVC and greenhouse plastic, with two doors on each end. To ventilate, I just open the doors enough to maintain the temp, so it is not protected from insects or dust. Does this make you think it is pollen? I thought it would be easy to test this hypothesis, but it is currently and has been raining steadily for 24 hours here, so I cannot check plants in the yard to see if they are also covered in these specks.

It sounds more like springtails than fungus gnats. Gnats in the soil will be present as small larvae (maggots) and will squirm but not run around. If they are very tiny and mobile, may even jump, then I would guess springtails. These are primitive soil-dwelling insects that cause no harm and certainly don't warrent the use of insecticides.

Jean, I believe that you are correct. Hatem Samir, psocids thrive in damp conditions, feeding on dust, mold, mildew, book binding, etc. I would think that the best way to get rid of them inside the home would be frequent vacuuming and cleaning with soap and water.

I would be very mindful about using toxic materials inside your home.

Good call, Jean. I don't think of psocids inside buildings, but they can certainly be very happy, especially if the humidity is high.
