My echeveria looks like it's dying?

My echeveria is dying, but I got it less than a month ago. Im not familiar with succulents as this is my first one. I planted it with soil that is meant for succulent and cacti after I realized regular potting soil isn't good for it.

I've been away from home for awhile and upon coming back, this is what it looks like.

I at first thought I was giving it too much water while it was in the regular soil, so after I changed the soil, I watered once, and this is the result.

I live in Kansas, and it has been quite rainy, so I've kept it in a window.

It's starting to get more sunny and hot here, so I'm wondering if I should just be patient because sit just needs more sunlight?

I just have no idea what is happening, and I don't want to kill it. Please help me!
