Comments (1)I am so sorry you are going through this. And yes, it's just too young to have to face hormone depletion. With no ovaries, yes, you would be considered menopausal. I am a little shocked that your doctor didn't discuss replacement therapy for a woman your age. Any woman, no matter the age, can experience blood clots on birth control pills. However, there are other ways to replace the missing hormones. Many physicians believe that the bioidentical hormones are much better for your body than the synthetics, as found in birth control pills. Don't give up, I know this isn't easy. But if you can find a combination that makes you feel better, it would be a blessing....See MoreAfrican peri peri peppers anyone?
Comments (11)Hi TS: you would do that? Thank you. I found a vendor, superhotchiles.com that has plants and I am going to buy two plants from him. Lets see how that turns out. I learned that the heat comes later in this pepper instead of at the beginning, as in Thai peppers, which is why it is prized in some foods. Then you taste all the other flavors before the heat numbs. It will be nice to hear what your friend has to say. Thank you! K....See MoreOne side of this pepper plant dying?
Comments (7)Thanks Sugi! I don't have much experience with over watering plants, certainly not pepper plants, but it seemed that could be it. Specially since both my Peri Peri plants seem unhappy in this way since I started watering a little heavily. My squashes and eggplants and tomatoes and even some peppers seem happier for it. But I think I have to watch and pull back the watering. And I have heard, that these peppers like to grow in very hot dry places. Yes, I did notice the one or two yellowing leaves earlier on but I thought its just the way plants are, one or two leaves will yellow and fall off from time to time. The soil underneath is actually very nice, I am proud of it. Dark, loamy and well draining. I removed weeds and tilled before I put the fabric down. Its just that the garden has become very weedy since I havn't gardened for a long while and I knew that if I just mulched the weed problem would have been overwhelming and I would not be able to grow anything period. Do you know why something would die from one side? Thanks, K. ronnyb123: Could over watering be your cause too?...See Morekatyajini
