We purchased these sets from an antique store about 5 blocks from Kappabashi. One of those places that is just wall to wall antiques, all being loaded in from outside of Tokyo. We spent a few hours in there and pulled a 19th-century scroll. The owner was a lovely lady in her 80s, and many items were from her family (she gave us her grand father's Tanuki statue).

Amongst other things, we picked up these two tea sets. I don't think they're especially old/rare/valuable, but I've been having trouble identifying the manufacturer or kiln. I've checked a lot of online resources, but I'm not finding these marks. I have some training in porcelain, but I'm even having a hard time identifying this as transferware.

These are complete sets, some of the paper was added to them to make sure they didn't break in transit. In the shop there was no paper wrapping.
