Adchoices

Hi, my Yahoo email account does not allow me to delete the emails in the inbox. And there is always the adchoices on the right side of the window. Is there a way to remove it and fix the yahoo account problem? I got this article which tells me that adchoices is caused by an adware. Is that true? If so, what should i do now?

Download Free Malewarebytes and run a scan for starters.

AdChoices is a legit company, its ad placements are visible to Yahoo mail users on the right hand side of the screen. That's normal. If you don't like it, add an Ad Blocker to your browser and then that section will be blank. There's no malware (Maleware?) involved if that's all you observe.

If you can't delete emails, I suggest trying another browser. Or rebooting your machine. Sometimes browsers, and sometimes Yahoo mail, get indigestion. Nothing that a simple "try it again differently or try it again" won't fix.

Hi Woohooman, I use Firefox too but it is secondary browser. The problem I have right now is with Google Chrome, before I did not have this AdChoice pop up. fireplace goes out?

Fire place might work good for 2 days mabe more.then will not work in manual or remote. sometimes piolt light goes out after re lighting it may work fine. i have changed the batts cked with volt meter batts are good.my ? when the fireplace is in the manual position does the nine volt system still come into play.and dose that circut afect the piolt?thanks for any help AdChoices

You need to run 2 programs 1 AdwCleaner 2 Junkware removal tool Your browser is infected, both these tools can be downloaded from bleeping computer. These tools do not install to a folder, they run from the desktop. When your finished you delete them. Make sure you run the clean option in adwCleaner Then follow up with a malwarebytes scan. Lately, the pop up ads and sidebars have increased. There was contact info to ask GW on one of the threads about Houzz. I used Ad Blocker, but it has to be refreshed often. I realized that posts with words appearing green are search terms that trigger an automated progr...m to attach ads on unrelated topics. I usually try to go back to change it. When posting, the word AV is safe to use, but not the word pl...nt. We will have to chat in code to avoid triggering pop-ups. But with automated word correction features, that is not easy.
