Hi Woohooman, I use Firefox too but it is secondary browser. The problem I have right now is with Google Chrome, before I did not have this AdChoice pop up. I tried to install Adblock and adblock plus to Google Chrome extension but I got error message. Thank you for the link I will try to install it and use Firefox for GW. I would not run any type of cleaner, some are OK but some can really mess things up including in the registry. Especially if you don't have an exact name of something safe, lots of malware uses names very very similar to acceptable program names. If you have easylist added to the adblock plus it should remove most ads. Be sure in the adblock plus preferences you uncheck the option to allow certain types of ads. If you find an ad it doesn't remove run your cursor over the ad and edges, if any little box pops up that says block click on it and it will add it to the block list.

If you have ad block plus with Firefox be sure you have the easy list filter added and any time an ad shows up run your cursor around the edges of it looking fora tab to pop up that says block cclick it. If you go into the settings for ad block there is an option yoummust physically check mark that blocks other types of ads I think these fall into that category. Click on your ad block icon and look at the settings and preferences and the filter subscriptions

Adchoice or Adchoices? . Do the ads you're seeing contain clickable icons similar to this? If you click the leftmost icon does it take you to this Google help page? https://support.google.com/adsense/troubleshooter/1631343 If so, you should be able to block them with "Ublock Origin" or "Adblock Plus" (if you uncheck "Allow some non-intrusive advertising"). . . If on the other hand, the ads are not like above... maybe they're being caused by adware? I'm not a adware person but I think there may also be an adware that goes by the same or similar name. If it were me, I'd probably scan with my primary AV, then Malwarebytes and then AdwCleaner. Like I say though, I don't know much about adware, I'm just stating what I, as a regular user, would probably do. . Another thought. If you installed a piece of software around the time you started noticing the ads, maybe you could use "System Restore" to return your system to a state prior to when the ads started?
