My daughter bought TT and I plan on getting a start from her. It looks like it could glow in the dark. My favorite is definitely Tower of Babel. Do I see a hint of blue in there? And isn't it nice when the color in the picture turns out exactly as it does in person. Sometimes I really struggle with that and it is so infuriating. Vickie

You could give it a severe hair cut and allow it to become a bit shrubbier. Grown inside like that, even with a 'gro-light', it will always be a bit leggy. Good for you for encouraging it to do so well.

Definitely check out RBG soon. Last week we went to check on the renovations to the rose garden - very extensive changes there! The plant labels weren't in yet for the new plantings so we'll have to go again soon to get a bitter feel for what they are combining with the roses. It's too bad they took down the pergola that used to lead towards the teahouse. There ware some interesting espaliers on it. I think they should have renewed the pergola rather than remove it entirely. Between the rock garden renovation and the new rose garden renovation, they've really added to/improved the ornamental gardens . Hopefully they'll do more of that and that maintenance can keep pace! Re definition in the garden here - that's the main thing we've learned in our years gardening here.... The 'negative space' (paths etc.) and structures are a very important part of shaping and defining/refining the look and utility of the garden. Once I started working with those ideas, it really changed the garden and made us happier/more content with it! Peony season will be starting soon - drop by and check it out... :-)

Tracy, please don't feel this forum doesn't care. Many do. But like in my instance, it is so inconvenient to go to the post office when I could just give you a ton of plants if you lived near me. I have been dying to thin out a little and just no one to hand any to But good luck in your endeavors and sorry about the stuff you have been through.
